As the son of a Major in the Army, Michael has not only lived all over the United States but understands the value of hard work. He believes that greatness comes to those who put in the effort. He parallels business to the competitive culture of sports and often references Tim S. Grover's body of work for motivation. He believes in building teams who know how to work hard and who see obstacles as opportunities for growth. Tim Grover has said, "I've always believed that when you do your job - you let the athletes shine"; and, Michael is convinced that his teams are better when everyone is given the opportunity to contribute to the success of the team. He values his team members and knows that their positive work experience translates to a better customer experience.

Michael has worked in the automotive industry for more than 20 years in several major markets and has lived and worked in Springfield, Missouri since November of 2020. He graduated from West Jordan High School in Utah and soon after served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Oregon. After his mission, he attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he played basketball and graduated with a degree in Hospitality. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and daughter often as spectators of a basketball, baseball, or football game. He thoroughly enjoys the beauty of the Ozarks and the wonderful people who live here.
