    William J. Adkins is an automotive veteran with over four decades in the industry. During this time, he's accrued an impressive list of honors, including numerous Toyota President's Awards, 13 Nissan Owner First Awards and a Nissan Global Award, which is only presented to five dealerships annually.

    Along with a passion for cars, Adkins' attributes his success as a Senior Partner to his employees, whom he's been grateful to coach spiritually, financially, morally and mentally. "If you want to see the true measure of a man, take a look at the talent of the people around him. I'm blessed to have such capable people on my team, people who desire to never stop growing. I'm privileged to play a role in the development of individuals with this mentality."

    When he's not hard at work, Adkins enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 23 years, two children and dog, Bandit. His hobbies include cooking and traveling, and while he now resides in Plano, Texas, he's still a diehard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, his hometown team. Adkins also has a soft spot in his heart for Tallahassee, where he attended college at Florida State University.

    About David Kelley, Managing Partner of Nissan of McKinney

    There's only one thing that David Kelley loves more than spending time in the great outdoors, and that's being in the dealership surrounded by his talented staff and the latest cars, "I love working with people and I love cars. I feel lucky to have a job that combines two of my passions."

    David's enthusiasm for people and automobiles has helped him become a five-time Toyota President's Award receipt and two-time Nissan Circle of Excellence winner, but above this, David's children are his greatest achievement. Outside of work, he and his wife spend many weekends attending their sporting events and they enjoy taking them out on the slopes to ski and snowboard. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, David was on his high school ski team and is proud to participate in this activity with his kids today. Along with winter sports, David also goes boating and hiking during the summer.

    In his position as Managing Partner, David believes that it's important to show gratitude to his employees, and honors his top-performing staff members at an annual awards banquet, which he says is like their own personal Oscar Awards show. He also believes in giving back to the community and does so not only personally, but also through the dealership, which supports McKinney ISD Athletics and provides 10 annual scholarships to McKinney graduates. 

    A review of David also wouldn't be complete without mentioning his loveable bulldog Titan. As a mascot for the dealership, Titan has gained somewhat of a celebrity status, and always steals the show when he visits the dealership.
